OUR RABBI

Young Israel of San Diego is proud to announce the  appointment of Rabbi Eddie Rosenberg to the pulpit as of August 1, 2020.
 
Rabbi Eddie Rosenberg was born in Moscow and moved with his family to the United States when he was four years old. He began his formal Jewish education at San Diego Hebrew Day School. From there he continued learning at Ohr Somayach in Monsey, New York. He graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Literature. In 2017, Rabbi Rosenberg received semicha from Rabbi Daniel Channen of Yeshiva Pirchei Shoshanim.

Rabbi Rosenberg became involved in Jewish outreach, continually provide Shabbat hospitality to Jewish guests from all backgrounds. He plans to continue to develop and nurture the community as one of harmony and excitement for Jewish values, Torah, and mitzvot.
 
Young Israel of San Diego welcomes the Rabbi's leadership with a loving embrace and a full heart. With G-d's help Young Israel of San Diego will go from strength to strength.
